Sharks win, 2-1, to avoid a sweep and send series back to San Jose. Stars went on to win series, 4-2, in a series that featured four overtime contests and seven overtime periods including a 4OT thriller in Dallas in Game 6 to clinch the series victory. (In Game 6, Shark goalie Evgeni Nabokov robbed Stars Brad Richards with the greatest save I can remember. Watching the game at Yard House in Brea, Calif., I was convinced that shot ended the series, but Nabokov stood on his head to extend the series into a fourth OT period that night.)
